This 2005 Honda Civic..
Or this 2008 Ford Focus?
If you chose the 2005 Civic you’re a pretty good businessperson. If you chose the Focus and ever entertained the possibility of opening a new car dealership, maybe a deli is more your speed.
From January through August, according to the National Automobile Dealers Association, used vehicles averaged a net retail profit of $306 apiece while spanking new models averaged a net retail loss of $17.The new car loss is narrowing though. Last year a dealership averaged $223 profit on a used vehicle while a new car or truck loss was a higher $31.
