challenger

Today was the absolute best type of Fall day in Ontario. With bright sun and temperatures in the mid teens, it was a great day for getting out and doing the things that make life great. Like washing a press car and heading out for a photo shoot!

As we approached our location for the day we noticed someone taking photos of this wonderful British Racing Green Seven. Of course I had to embarrass Mamma and stop to say hi and grab a photo or 3. It turns out that this particular Seven is a Caterham car powered by a Ford 4 cylinder, just like Colin intended. Complete with side pipe and shine K & N air filter caps, owner Chris Happe seems rightfully proud of his little green bomb. We grabbed a few shots of the Challenger with the Seven and then helped Chris with a couple of shots of him in his ride.

Early next week, I’ll share my thoughts on daily life with the Challenger. I have to say we were pleasantly surprised with how easily this car fits into the daily grind here in The Garage.

Now what you needed to do was to take the ’7′ for a run to stretch it’s legs and give us an impression of this wonderful bit of Colin Chapman. Maybe you can get another run at it.

I think I’m going to speak with Mr Happe to see if I can’t take it for a spin.

Yeah I wanna know when is my turn! Mr Happe has every right to be proud. Who wouldn’t be with a beauty like that. Sounds like you had a lovely outing.
