That Tony Stewart guy has done it again. This time, the championship he’s won is the 2006 International Race of Champions, proving he is one of the all time best drivers. He joins a pretty serious line of IROC Champions who are the best of the best in North American racing.

Today’s race at Atlanta was the first I’ve watched in years and what a great race to watch. Near the end, Mark Martin got a bee in his bonnet and the driving started to get a little chippy. Next thing you know, they were running 4 cars wide and trading paint. While Tony stayed back and watched the fun, Martin Truex JR joined the fray when a hole opened up and used that hole to his advantage. Truex scored the win, while Stewart kept his nose clean to take the overall prize. Mad Max Papis won the dirty shorts award following his super fast slide through the infield. Nice save!

Great job Tony!
