Things that go bump in the afternoon

Life is so busy that sometimes even the best of us have momentary lapses of concentration. Such was the case this past weekend when the best co-driver I’ve ever driven with slowly pulled out in front of a guy who was traveling much too fast in a McDonald’s parking lot. Fortunately, nobody was hurt other than a bit of pride.

The poor Protege 5 is going to need a pair of new doors and some repairs to the wheel arch and b-pillar. The good news is that the notorious rust that has formed on the rear wheel arch will get fixed. While we’re at it, our good friends at B & N Auto Body are going to fix up the rust on the other side too.

Ouch. Though not a big an ouch as it could have been I guess! Good luck getting that fixed.
