f-bomb-2

With the release of Fast & Furious yesterday comes the development of a bunch of new (or new again) automotive icons. Thanks to the internet, we are able to bring you stories about most of the key cars in the movie. First up is one of the coolest, the F-Bomb.

The movie folks have actually put one of the last four remaining 1970 Camaro’s used in the filming of the movie up for sale on E-bay with an opening bid of 10 grand. somehow I think the bidding will go much higher than that.

Tons of photos and more details after the break

From the seller:
VEHICLE CONDITION: This Camaro is in great movie condition. The body is solid with no noted rust or previous rust damage or repair. Floor panels and trunk floor are solid as seen in the photos. Paint is a flat military green with flat black stripe. In the future I would low gloss clear the exterior as the flat paint will not last in wet weather. There are some normal scrapes and chips. There are no major dents or dings. The doors don’t fit the best and the window weatherstrip is missing in the doors. Fender art is hand painted and looks crisp and clean. Motor is a nice 350 that looks and sounds good. It has headers and dual exhaust with Flowmasters. It has Edelbrock Performer RPM intake with Edelbrock 4bbl carb. Car starts easily and runs good. No major leaks or problems. Inside the car, the interior was stripped. Sheet metal door panels give it the NASCAR look. Speedo and aux temp guage works. Odometer reads 22,700 miles. Car has power steering, power front disc brakes, and remote start switch mounted on roll bar. Most fan and heater controls do not function. This car is for good weather cruising and car shows. Seats are very nice with lap belts. No rear seat. Tires and in good shape with lots of tread and little wear. Car drives good and is ready for show duty.

If I had the liquid cash, this is one movie prop that I would be jumping at hard. This car is just too cool. Sadly, I just have to hope that one of our readers takes a nibble.
