Another of the cool characters we’ve met along the way here in The Garage is our West Coast contributor, Aaron Von Minden. Here he is doing his best Mad Scientist impression, while cutting apart a perfect, rust free 34 Ford Coupe.
After the break, check out the beast that’s been stuffed into the resulting hole.
This killer beast is a Cadillac Flathead of all things. Not only is it built, but this thing has actual race history. This bad boy saw duty on the salt flats of Bonneville in the Fifties. All things going well, it will run on the salt again soon.
Now that it’s filling the hole where the firewall once was, the Caddy mill has been mated to a rare 37 Lasalle top loader gearbox.
We’ll keep you informed as work progresses on the 34 Coupe From Hell!
