In it’s latest salvo against rival Subaru, Mitsubishi has dished out the goods on how the next gen Evo will put it’s 300 plus ponies to the ground. With a new Super All Wheel Control system, Mitsubishi aims to take vehicle stability control systems to new heights, while a twin clutch sport transmission will provide super quick clutchless shifting. What does all of this mean? It means that Joe Average can look like a pro while attacking his morning commute!

Named for the legendary Scottish driver, the Jim Clark Memorial Award is awarded annually to a Scottish citizen who has made a difference to motor racing. The 2007 recipient is TV host Lee McKenzie. 28 year old Lee has been chasing her journalistic dreams since the ripe old age of 15 and has covered F1, DTM, Porsche Supercup and currently is traveling with A1GP. She even got her WRC co-driver’s license and has competed in several WRC rounds, proving that she can put her knowledge of the sport to good use inside the car as well as on screen.
We don’t usually comment on the financial side of things in the car industry, but today’s news is too cool to pass up. Ford has announced today that their Aston Martin brand is to be sold off to a consortium led by David Richards, proprietor of Prodrive. You might recall Prodrive, they are the team that saw success in the World Rally Championship and are currently the team responsible for building the Aston Martin racing effort in ALMS and European racing series. This is really good news for high end niche manufacturer, which will now be able to focus on quicker product development.
