Yet another manufacturer is ready to reveal a supercar with race car style and attributes. Aston Martin’s new Vantage RS concept, a 6.0 litre V12 600hp firecracker is almost production ready.

The Vantage RS is based on the company’s DBR9 race car first built in 2005 and currently appearing in series such as American Le Mans, Le Mans, and FIA GT Championship. Its heritage lies in the original DBR1 car, named for then owner David Brown. That car not only won the 24 Hours of Le Mans, but also the World Sportscar title.
