Tickets for the 2010 Honda Indy Toronto go on sale online today online and the series line up has been announced. The headline of the weekend is obviously the INDYCAR series, backed up by the INDY Lights. The support series have been juggled a bit with the return of the Speed World Challenge series and the Trans Am series. The hometown guys stay on track with the Canadian Touring Car Championship AND the Toronto debut of the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series. That is a whole bunch of excitement to cram into one weekend.
There were a few complaints about ticket prices at the 2009 event, so organizers have put together some pretty decent incentives for fans to buy early. With any package purchased before New Years, ticket holders can choose between free event parking, VIP pit walk through or INDYCAR paddock. While the parking pass is by far the best value, the VIP pit walkthrough is by far the best opportunity for fans to see their favorite driver up close. Just remember to keep out of the way while the pros are at work!
