While following links in Youtube after the Roo video, I came across this segment of one corner. There is no info given as to the year, or the location, but I would guess this is either a vintage event or was taken in the 80’s. Somehow I think there was no caution listed in the route book for this corner. The Civic roll is downright scary.

A FIFTIETH CELEBRATION OF CANADIAN RALLYING
For those who couldn’t make the Celebration, I offer this synopsis. Enter the foyer of the Double Tree Hotel on Dixon Road near Pearson Airport and there were five rally cars representing five decades of rallying. A MK II Cortina, a 510, Taisto’s ’82 Celica painted as it was campaigned that year, Sprongl’s Audi Quattro and a Subaru Canada WRX grabbed the eye of all who walked through the foyer. The Bancroft area came alive today with the sound of rally cars for the 2006 running of the Rally of The Tall Pines. Our man Jaimie headed out to see his first ever rally and provided us with some great pics. He actually took a whole gallery full. It’s a shame that nobody is running an old quattro these days, as that is what new rally spectators are hoping to see.
