Peter Egan’s Top 10 Future Collectibles

Years ago, Road & Track published an article called Return of the Bugeye penned by none other than Peter Egan. It’s really the first article of The Master’s that I actually recall reading, but it turned me on to Egan’s writing. While some folks claim that Hemingway or some other writing legend changed their life, for me it was Egan. He regales his readers with stories the really are from the Road & Track. Written from the perspective of a Vet/mechanic who went racing, his stories ooze grassroots racing. In recent years, the tales are increasingly garage based, possibly owing to the fact that since moving home to Wisconson he has built a killer garage space, complete with caffeine source.
In the July issue of R & T, Herr Egan attempts to deal with the rising cost of unlikely collectible cars and creates his own list of cars that might still be affordable collectibles.
