Jay Leno is a lucky guy. Not only has he built a career doing something he loves, but he’s earned the right to gain access to the world’s coolest cars. What more could a guy want? In this latest video release from the Big Dog Garage, Jay gets to put the 2009 Nissan GT-R through it’s paces. He may have been on the street, but just watch how quickly Godzilla snaps Leno’s sizable melon back when he stamps on the loud pedal!

Any guy who grew up with the original Knight Rider series would be lying if they told you they didn’t dream of cruising main street in Michael Knight’s sweet ride. With the reincarnated series about to launch, that lucky guy Leno meets with the creators of the newest Kitt, based on the Mustang GT500KR.

Monteverdi High Speed 375

Every car guy’s fave celeb has to be Jay Leno. Let’s face it. Leno is a regular guy who’s been lucky enough to earn a fortune doing something he loves. Along the way, he’s built one of the coolest, car collections and has the ability to keep growing it. If the guy has an idea, he builds it. If he wants a toy, he buys it. Leno’s collection may be one of the most honest ones in the world, as it has such variety that it could only have been put together by someone who truly loves cars.

Through Leno’s blog at Popular Mechanics and his Big Dog Garage, regular car guys who aren’t quite as financially blessed as Leno get a pretty good look at the man’s automotive world. Like every car guy, Jay is proud of his toys and wants to share them with the world. He’s done a pretty good job of sharing his hobby and now he’s going one step further. Big Dog Garage is now airing 4 new videos every week, giving us the change to see all the toys in action. Not only that, but a bunch of videos have been released onto YouTube for us bloggers to share with our readers. Over the next few days, you can expect that The Garage will be posting the full collection. This week’s videos include the super rare Monteverde High Speed 375, a how to article for Corvette owners, footage of the head techie working on Jay’s 1924 Ace motorcycle and a eco friendly parts washer.

You gotta love Jay Leno. There’s not many people who can say they’ve become millionaires doing what they love, but even fewer who then pour as much time, effort and money into the car hobby.

So when an Bob Shotwell wanted his pride and joy preserved, he got in touch with Leno. The car in question was Philbert the Puddle Jumper, an Indian Motorcycle powered 3 wheeler built by a 17 year old Bob in the 1930’s. He knew he could entrust his lifelong dream car to Jay and that it would be treated well.

True to fashion, Jay and his team have restored Philbert and made just enough mods to allow the car to be driven in it’s new California home.

Imagine the excitement last Friday when the new Camaro Concept rumbles up to the weekly cruise at Bob’s Big Boy in Burbank(say that 5 times fast). But wait, who’s that driving? None other than Jay Leno of course. Being a rich and famous car guy sure has it’s perks.
