The Garage is a magical place that has connected many people in both the virtual and real worlds. Two farmboys, one from Nebraska and the other from Oregon grew up decades apart, yet both moved to California in search of the automotive utopia. One built a life surrounded by road racing and road cars, while the other became immersed in the kool of rodding from an era long before his time. That kool shaped a career in design with two companies that have changed the course of modern culture.

The wonders of the gootubez never cease to amaze. Mr. Faules was wasting some time cruising through youtube last night when he came across this little bit of tire shredding goodness.
I think it can be beaten. Yes folks…I’m laying down the gauntlet for our other guy on the west coast. Come on Von Minden, we all know you can do better than this!
Speaking with Chip Foose the other day reminded me that I haven’t gotten around to posting the pics Aaron Von Minden sent of Live Wire. Back in the fall, we showed you Piero DeLuca’s Ford Coupe in the early stages at the Savage Speed Garage. The months of work leading up to the 2008 Grand National Roadster Show have paid off and Live Wire won 4 awards! Nice work guys!
