Does your car guy have all the diecasts he could ever want? Maybe he’d like a weird bit of pop culture history to liven up the conversation in the office. BOYM Design has a series of Buildings of Disaster sculptures that includes the infamous OJ Simpson police chase. Weird.

Possibly the highlight of the CarFixWorld show for me was the discovery of this incredible product. Racebricks are blocks of glass that have been internally etched with lasers. The etching shows details of NASCAR cars and NHRA cars, along with the driver’s signatures and team logos. Each brick comes with it’s own illuminated base that brings the designs to life.

Long known as one of the world’s premier diecast model makers, Corgi has a new line to keep up with the times. Along with the car pictured here, they also offer a blinged out Escalade, complete with spinners. Just in case you forgot your Ipod, the iCar has it’s own preloaded tunes to keep it rockin’ on your desk.
