Ther was major buzz last month that Apple and Volkswagen were working on a joint project. Images posted on the web showed a VW dashboard with a built-in touch screen sporting a very Apple-esque user interface, which many pundits chose to see as a sign that discussions provided friutful.

Well it seems discussions have come up with nothing more than rotten apples.
