The Governator scopes out Porsche at Geneva Motor Show

Perhaps the only thing Arnold Schwarzenegger loves more than a good cigar is a good set of wheels. If you recall, the now endangered HUMMER brand came about because the Terminator star wanted one. As the Governor of California, Arnie has to watch his manners these days and that means choosing vehicles a bit more carefully.

It is no surprise then that Arnold spent time at the Porsche booth today at the Geneva Motor Show for the reveal of the Europe only Cayenne Diesel. Of course, Schwartzenegger did grow up in Austria and inevitably the 911 left its mark on his young brain. Suitably, Arnold planted his muscular behind in the 2010 911 GT3 while Porsche’s chief engineer, Wolfgang Duerheimer, gives up the details on the coolest current Porsche.

Can we expect a new liquid silver edition? 911 GT3 T has a nice ring to it.

Buyers choose from three engines: a 2.0 liter gas turbo four (211hp), a 2.0 liter turbo diesel (170hp), or a 240hp 3.0 liter turbo diesel (TDI’s to VW/Audi fans). Either engine is available with a six-speed manual or seven-speed dual clutch tranny.
