As some other traditional domestics are ditching their minivan products, the originator of the segment has been working away at the newest version of their bread and butter. Daimler Chrysler has a lot at stake with the next generation Caravan and they need to get it right. In a segment where everybody and their brother is offering easy stowing seats, dvd screens and navi, DCX needed to pull out on the stops on the features front if they are planning on wooing soccer moms across North America.

With all the kaffuffle over embargoed photos being leaked before the North American International Auto Show, it seems DCX has had enough. With photos of several of their new models hitting the interwebs over the weekend, this time somebody went too far when they posted pictures of Chrysler’s North American bread and butter model. Originally posted on some Spanish forum, these pictures found their way onto a few of the bigger car blogs. Being the good netizens that they are, Autoblog have taken down the pictures they had posted.

I was lucky enough to catch them in my RSS reader, but you’ll have to wait to get my opinion on those!
