Yes, you have heard this one before-back in February The Garage announced that Toyota would be bring the Scion to Canada, and that is the last we’ve heard until a recent post from Auto123.com. Toyota has announced that 45 select dealers will begin selling Scions in September, 2010. Scions will be sold in a “store within a store” at dealers in urban areas, with higher than average youth populations.
All three current Scions will be available, starting with the five door hatch xD, the boxy xB and the sporty tC (pictured). Scions were first sold in California in 2003, and were available at every US Toyota dealer by June 2004. No word on why it has taken Toyota seven years to bring these cars to Canada, and their trepidation to enter this market baffles me, but better late than never.
