When our west coast contributor Aaron Von Minden picked up this 49 Mercury back in February, he had one goal in mind. Drive the beast to the Cruise Nationals at Paso Robles in May. Well, Paso was last weekend and mission accomplished!
The original flathead V8 is breathing a little better thanks to a high rise intake with a pair of Stromberg carbs. We’ll have more shots of the car for you later today and tons of shots from the Cruise Nationals over the next few days.
