It was an exciting day today in the Savage Speed Garage, where Aaron Von Minden’s radical rod was given a pretty special accolade from the people at Hot Rod Magazine. In the new issue which goes out to subscribers tomorrow, Aaron’s ride was named Best Retro Car in a feature about home built rides.

Love it! It’s good to see guys building cars and then enjoying them other than stuffing them in a garage only to get them out when it stops raining. In my oppinion garages have doors for a reason. It’s so what’s inside can be taken out and played with.
