Porsche seems to have entered the world of cheesiness with the introduction of a winter sled. The Porsche Kinderbob costs around $115 and comes complete with metal runners and a horn.

If you think Porsche Design has come up with some unique, German inspired, high tech design, think again. On the scale of high tech sleds this one is merely a toy.

If you really want some speed and handling go for the High-Tech Sledge. With shock absorbers, buckle resistant aluminum, polyethylene runner that can be waxed and special ergonomic design, the Sledge makes Porsche’s attempt no more than child’s play. At $630 though, you might be better off with the cheap and cheesy Porsche.

Is Porsche planning a new “concept” sled to challenge the Sledge? Only time will tell.
