I’m sure a few readers have teenage daughters who have read the entire Twilight series of books 15 times like mine has. One thing many of the old fuddy duddies may not realize is that cars play a starring role in the books. It seems that vampires like cars. Cool cars. Fast cars. In book one Bella, the smitten by vamp girl, rocks around town in a tres cool vintage pickup while the object of her affections drives a silver Volvo S60 turbo. Somehow in the movie it became a C30. Without spoiling much for those of you who haven’t read the books (yes, I’ll admit I have) one of the bloodsuckers rips off a yellow Porsche 911 Turbo for a fast getaway. Pretty inconspicuous huh?
After the break is a quick video of a stunt double leaving the set in Alice Cullen’s toy. I sure hope that’s a stunt double, or Alice has lost some of her appeal. Fortunately, the 911 is as hot as ever.
