MOTORSPORT/ LE MANS 24 HOURS 2009

Many people thought it couldn’t be done, but for every Goliath there is a David. On their 3rd attempt, Peugeot has taken the top two spots at the annual 24 hour race at Le Mans. The winning car was the #9 Peugeot 908 Hdi FAP driven by a trio of ex Formula 1 drivers, David Brabham, Alex Wurz and Marc Gene. A super cool side note is the fact that the last time peugeot won at Le Mans was 16 years ago when Brabham’s older brother Geoff was driving.

There is going to be some pretty hard core partying going on in France today!

I was at the cottage and missed it all.

Oh well next year.
