41 years after it’s debut on TV, George Barris’s original Batmobile still captivates children and adults alike. Whenever the Batmobile is shown, there is a huge crowd around the display. One of four cars used during filming is about to hit the auction block over in jolly olde England.
In an effort to make sick kids smile, the car was displayed at the Birmingham Children’s Hospital last week and then moved to the Autosport Show in Birmingham. The car will be auctioned in London at Coy’s later this month and is expected to bring about 75,000 pounds. The date is not yet listed on their site.
