Thumb the button and the door swings upward with a satisfying mechanical grating and an electric motor’s thrum laboring. In my mind’s eye that is my welcome to the Garage, as I fish around my pocket for a set of keys. The joy of reviewing bikes and cars for a “living” (I use the term loosely) is you’re a member of the vehicle of the week club. After five years running OneWheelDrive.Net and a few months on the car side with OutDrive.ca, I’ve never quite lost that new metal thrill.

So what’s in the garage this week? I’ve just wrapped up with Audi’s Q7 and that still needs to be taken from notes to an article - perhaps two if sheer size equates to word count. From there I’ve jumped into Suzuki’s SX4. What an exercise in contrasts? And there’s a BMW 535xi kicking around waiting to do some pick up shots for a review video.
