Recently we’ve been enjoying a bunch of vintage racing photos that have been supplied by racer Robert Barg. Many of these images have actually come to Robert from Mini racer Kent Smith. This shot above is Kent and his Mini in action back in the day.
Kent says:
This was the nite I locked bumpers with Bill and went for a wild ride over end of turn 4 at Merritville, haven’t been right since. Notice the front bumper on Mini and rear bumper on Bill’s car, hooked when I tried to shove him aside going for the win, WHOOPS.
