I have to admit something rather shocking. When the 350Z first arrived in my service department back in 2003, I was initially not overly impressed. In fact, I didn’t even give the car a second glance. Fed up with overweight, over priced Japanese sports cars of the Nineties, I expected the 350 to be more of the same.
Then I drove it.
It was love at first drive and I’ve enjoyed every moment I’ve spent behind the wheel of Nissan’s 2 seat wonder. As comfortable on the track as it is on the street, the 350Z is a car that is all about the passion of driving.
When I received the press tip from Nissan yesterday, I held my breath when I opened the image attachments. Did they screw it up, or did they knock one out of the park? If you ask me, the car keeps the same historic styling influences yet manages to look even more muscular. I can’t wait to drive this car.
Check out more images and the press kit after the break and let us know what you think.
