More on the Camo Porsche

Last week Autoblog showed a pic of this camoflage beasty from here in the Toronto area.

After a couple of e-mails, I’m hopeful to get a real life eyeful of the machine. Meanwhile, the keeper of the beast, Shannon Larratt has posted a bunch of pics from all different angles.

In addition to his body mod empire, Shannon hosts one of the coolest car blogs I’ve seen yet. As a kid, I used to pour over each issue of Kit Car Magazine while dreaming about building a Kelmark GT. In Price of his Toys, Shannon has brought together tons of pics and stories of Kit Cars of all types. All the kits are there, from Kelmark to Bradley and Aztec to Manta. For some reason, I don’t ever recall seeing a Jamaican before, but it’s a beautiful machine.

Be sure to visit, you might even find your dream car in the For Sale page.

[...] A few days ago I glossed over a post somewhere about a lady named Rachel, taking her Lotus Elise to La Carrera Panamerica. It didn’t occur to me that this is Shannon’s partner. It seems the gene that causes people to love cool cars runs deep with this crowd. Rachel Larrat is blogging about her travels, and has also posted some killer pics of cars they’ve seen along the way. The event starts today and runs for 7 fun filled days. You can be sure we’ll be watching this one from up here in chilly Ontario. I can only imagine how much fun this would be. Maybe even better than Targa Newfoundland. Coop is another La Carrera competitor who has a blog that is filled with dozens on incredible images, and they event is only just starting today. The contrast between the colorful Mexican buildings and the vintage racers is stunning. [...]
