With things being so crazy around The Garage these days, I’ve been rather slow in getting to my Christmas shopping guide here. Just like my real Christmas shopping and I suspect yours too. Canadian artist Paul Chenard has been part of the extended family here in The Garage now for quite some time. He creates images of some of the most important moments in motorsport history, along with cars that have defined generations of automotive design. Paul’s unique use of combining simple line drawings and vibrant colours is not your typical automotive art.
Having taken a couple of years to get the ball rolling, Chenard’s work is now being featured in many international publications and originals are being sold at some of the major auctions. For the time being, one can still augment the home or office collection with a Chenard print or even an original without breaking the bank. A few years from now, these images may not be quite so affordable!
