When the Detroit Auto Show rolls around in January, Chrysler hopes that three eco-concepts will warm up those cold visitors and journalists attending the show.

Jeep has a radical looking concept called the Renegade which will be featured at the show. This concept looks cool! As you can see just sketches, no photo’s yet.

The Jeep features a chopped down windshield, roll bar and a convertible body style. From what we understand the interior will be H2O friendly and a hosing will substitute for a vacuum.

To keep green, the concept will feature a lithium-ion battery in concert with a small-displacement Bluetec diesel engine. The Renegade concept is being built with plenty of aluminum components to keep the Jeep light and agile.

Can’t wait to see it in the flesh.
