How to have all the accessories minus the expense

Having been in the automotive repair field for many years I have learned that doing things by the book isn’t always the “best” way. Many times a little ingenuity goes a long way.

I always enjoyed the Red Green show for the underlying theme of camaraderie among men. Red closes the show: “Remember, I’m pulling for you. We’re all in this together.” That sentiment has been lost in the trucking industry where I spent the last 40 years. I think Gary Faules still finds it in racing, and I’m not referring to Mark Martin encouraging all of us to get a check-up. LOL. Did you ever watch the Red Green show, Gary? It was from Canada. The sound of chain saws in the background was sooooo comforting.

I actually think he was sponsored by Duck Tape, he found so many uses for it … there are varrying degrees of Red Green in all of us.

I never realized it was a Canadian show but like you I enjoyed his way of getting things done. The truth is, when I lived on ranch out in the country there were many times when we needed to get something done and simply hopping in the car and going to the store wasn’t an option. That meant making due with whatever you had many times a person could become quite resourceful. As for the sound of chainsaws, doesn’t everyone have them? LOL.

Here are a bunch more clips from his show;
