It’s Canada Day and it seems like Mother Nature has finally decided to hold back the rains here in Southern Ontario. We have a glorious, sunny day. The coffee is hot and strong and the garden is full of weeds. We’re going to have a fun filled day of nothing here in The Garage. A walk on the beach with the dog, a few hours of pulling said weeds from the garden and then finish things up with a nice family BBQ to celebrate our country’s birthday.

“Said” weeds. Reminds me of the days when my father would ask, “Did you pull ALL the weeds?” LOL.
Reminds me of my late father in law. He pulled the plants and left the weeds!
Hmmm…we never did make it to the weeds
…after I pulled up all the weeds, our green front yard was brown …
