Happy Canada Day to all of our Canadian friends and family, even those of you who have slithered south of the border! Not surprisingly, I’ll be spending the day with the family today and have little intention of sitting in front of the computer all day long. Instead, I put together this little round up of some of our most popular content of 2010. I hope you enjoy this retrospective. If not, oh well, my beer is cold!
MINI Convoy gets hassled by the Ontario Po Po
This tale of messed up policing and half assed media has by far been our most visited post so far this year. It would seem that the people don’t like nasty police tactics and grandstanding any more than we do.
2010 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon review
Tom’s week of keeping the Rubi clean must have resonated with all those off road poseurs out there, as this review has been unbelievably popular. Now if all of these readers would just buy the damn thing, Chrysler’s sales would rebound. If people would actually get the things dirty, then perhaps dealers might even sell some parts!
The demise of the new Acura NSX
It always amazes me when 3 paragraphs draws in tons of readers. Maybe that’s because nobody else published photos of the ugly ass thing!
Ken Block and Monster Energy jump from the Subaru ship
Most of our readers love a good Ken Block story, even more so when it contains some wicked video. The rumor mill spit out the tale of Block making a switch to Ford and you just ate that up!
The redneck hedge trimmer
This one almost had as much traffic as the MINI story. Should I be surprised? Who doesn’t love a picture of Bubba Gump’s redneck cousin improvising with gasoline powered garden tools?
That’s all for now. Happy Canada Day, may your BBQ be hot and your beer cold!
