Nothing like a Suzuki. I see many folks driving Suzukis but not many of them for sale. The car has to be a value. Just like the Prism (Toyota Corolla), the Metro (Suzuki Swift) were probably among the best cars Chevrolet had to offer back then.

I’m looking seriously into buying a Metro for gas savings alone.

Prizm was a great used car buy in its day. My son went through an ‘89 and a ‘95 and got excellent value for his money.

Incidentally, Tom, like many you’ve inserted a few unnecessary apostrophes. Use ‘em only to denote a contraction (“can’t” instead of “can not”, etc.) or to indicate a possessive:

“…sold right alongside Chevy’s.” Alongside Chevy’s what?

“…focus on trucks and SUV’s.”

“…the first Geo Tracker’s came from Suzuki…”

Not perfect myself, but I’m tired of seeing this mistake everywhere online.

haha, we caught one of these storms on fire in my high school auto shop…. to say the least, we took our time getting the fire extinguishers…lol

I’m surprised that even $4.00 + gas could get the prices to rise on these. I figure if I get two of the convertibles I could use them as roller skates and not have to worry at all about gas prices.

Alternatively, if I picked up one of the old Trackers I could drive around like my favorite cartoon character, Grape Ape!! You have to wait for it, it’s all the way at the end….
