It looks like another case of if you can’t beat em, buy em. NASCAR authority jayski.com has been gobbled up by ESPN. Really this is just another example of traditional media accepting the fact that sometimes the little guy does a better job of staying abreast of a topic than they do.

The sale may not come as much of a surprise to regular readers at jayski. The site has been hosted by ESPN since 2004. Interestingly, the site’s host Jay Adamczyk will continue on with the project along with acting as a NASCAR commentator for all of ESPN’s other media. The newfound resources will allow Jayski to grow even further for the reader.
