What could be cooler than a vintage Cheetah race car? How about a new Cheetah race car! This is a NEW Bill Thomas Cheetah, built under license by BTM in Arizona. The car is vintage legal and even comes with an HSR log book. The car has a 377 cube Chevy bowtie block and has been dyno’d at a whopping 523 ft-lbs of torque. No horsepower numbers are given, but with that much torque I doubt we need to ask.

Visit the auction site and the Cheetah site for more info

WOW!!! Now THAT is exciting. I can just see a series being born and how exciting would that be to see a bunch of those bad boys running around with some Factory Five Cobras!!! I loved the photo of Bondurant testing one when he was at his old place in Riverside.

Great video…oh where to start…

First off…it looks squirrelly as hell, but it’s nice to see that even old pros make mistakes.

Secondly, it’s the first in car I’ve watched from Riverside. What a tight track. It would be cool to see how the Cheetah performs on a fast track like Mosport or The Glen.

Yesssir! I sat in the Alan Green Chevolet Cheetah back in 1965 in Seattle (I grew up a few blocks from the shop) and have always wanted one, I have photos of the green Cheetah at Seattle raceways,,,what a machine! After stuffing a 400 small block Chev in my 63 Maserati GTI and driving for 20 years, I’m down to a 215 Buick/MGB and retired in Mesa, Az. Once a gearhead,,,,,, where can I see the continuation series Cheetah?
