Great reality based TV, like great blogging, demands a certain amount of transparency, or honesty to become really great. In other words, shows that let their hosts real personality shine through are always more fun to watch than a fake, made up TV persona. Perhaps that’s why the Canadian show Dream Car Garage became such a hit on a big American TV network. Hosts Peter Klutt and Tom Hnatiw really are the fun guys you see on the show. Unlike so many other hosts of car shows, these guys really are car guys.
So how do the Dream Car Garage and Sports Car Revolution guys spend their weekends? Easy, they like to go fast! Just so you don’t think that Klutt is just some fancy team owner, that #42 Vette is his baby and he runs it fast! In fact, you’ll usually find it at the front of the pack.

Like my son would say, “That’s some sick stuff right there!” Great photos and even better cars! It looks like the camera is working out well. Every time I tell someone that, I am reminded of a professional photographer that told me a story earlier this year. He was at some trade show when some woman who was a professional chef took a look at some of his photos and said, “Wow, those are some great shots. You must have a very expensive camera.” He told me, “You have no idea how bad I wanted that lady to invite me over to her house for dinner. I would have waited until after dinner to say, ‘Wow, what a wonderful dinner. You must have very expensive pots and pans.”
