Why aren't there any F1 events in the US? MotoGP came back. In fact, the Laguna Seca event went so well they added a round at Indy.

Maybe its getting too $$$ to ship F1 around the world.

Sucks because I was actually hoping to go in 09, maybe Cart/Indy can get their heads on straight and make a return?

Hard to be a World Championship when you omit North America entirely. Brazil can't be far off. Is it me or are Max and Bernie determined to piss off North American F1 fans at all costs?

... someone should whip them into shape.

They're alienating a whole continent by taking it out of Montreal. It's been a well attended race by the fans and popular with the fans, the teams and the drivers. It also carries it's own character and personality, joie de vivre ...

So much for Driver's WORLD Championship.

I study the history, and history has been made there. But now that the dollar reigns, with judgement and memory obliterated, I'll finding harder and harder to not chuck it all, and just stick to reading of past glories.

Yahoo reported that several drivers were unhappy with the track surface, despite other recent improvements.
Seems fishy to me...maybe a little greasing going on to get other venues on the schedule? Dirty deeds in F1? Never.

Brazil and Aust. are probably on the hit list soon.
The Brit. GP will be toast if Donnington modifications are not done in time.
If Brazil and Aust. are dropped that will be 3 continents out of the World? Championship.
Did not Canada vote against Mad Max in the mess earlier this year?
With NA a major market for several major teams or their sponsor I would not think this will sit well with them.
