Text message etiquette has hit a new low on the public stage thanks to the fine folks at Torro Rosso. The F1 team, owned by Red Bull, apparently fired Sebastian Bourdais via SMS text message. While this sort of poor manners may not be uncommon for shopping mall managers turfing teenagers, you would think the spin doctors at a major corporation might have caught wind of such a high profile faux pas. Talk about bad PR.
Unlike those mall rats who would be lucky to get a soda with their goodbye, Bourdais is recovering with a 2 million dollar settlement in the bank.
