Don’t expect Ford or Chrysler to suit up for the Super Bowl. The automotive teams have been set and two of the Detroit 3 did not make the playoffs.

Chevrolet, Toyota and Audi will advertise during the Feb. 3 Super Bowl telecast.

Chevrolet plans a 60-second commercial during the game’s second quarter, said General Motors spokeswoman Ryndee Carney. That spot will be GM’s only ad in the game, although Chevrolet and Cadillac will air multiple spots during the pre-game and post-game shows, respectively.

Toyota plans to run two game spots, although their length and timing have not been determined, says spokeswoman Cindy Knight. The commercials may feature the redesigned Sequoia SUV and Tundra pickup.

Audi is returning to the Super Bowl after two decades. Audi’s 60-second spot, to run during the first quarter, will feature the R8 sports car.

Hyundai and the automotive Web site Cars.com have announced plans to run two 30-second spots apiece during the Super Bowl. Both are first-time game advertisers.

Sources say Fox, which will broadcast the game, is charging advertisers as much as $2.7 million for 30 seconds of air time.
