Antas Berlinetta meets the public

Long time readers may remember seeing the Antas V8 GT we reported on last year. The Faralli & Mazzanti team have been hard at work building a new facility and a couple of weeks ago hosted an open house to show off the fruit of their hard work.

Of course the star of the show was the Antas Berlinetta supercar that is built within the beautiful new atelier. Guests were treated to tours, displays of the production process and visiting classic cars.

As an incredibly rare, hand built car, the Antas doesn’t come come cheap. The price of entry starts at around $700,000 US and goes up from there depending on how extravagant you want to be. Don’t worry though, you aren’t likely to pass another one on the street, as there are only 2 of these machines built every year.

The highlight of the day for the team must have been discussion of a potential American buyer who wants his Antas to be powered by a V-10 Viper mill putting out more than 1000 hp. With that much power, the Antas would be capable of 0-60 times in the 2.9 second mark and a whopping 255 mile per hour top speed!

The Antas team ends a busy day by posing with Scottish sports car manufacturer Steven Turner.
