And they’re off: Follow the Rolex 24 at Daytona here thanks to Twitter

For those who haven’t used it, Twitter is an incredible, real time social networking tool that allows one to send quick updates to one’s contacts. The coolest thing is how flexible Twitter feeds are for releasing information.

For our use, Twitter allows us to keep you up to date with the 24 Hours of Daytona through the eyes (and iPhone) of Michael Banovsky and a host of other race media. Look way down the right sidebar, at the top of the links and you’ll find a section called Race. Keep your eyes on this spot as tonight turns into tomorrow, and Michael will keep you in the know. Talk about a great companion to Speed’s coverage!

You can also monitor keywords (including rolex24) using monitter.com

Thanks for the headsup on the twitter feed…I need to get in the habit of checking twitter for these things!
