VW has announced the latest limited edition New Beetle Convertible, simply called “Blush”. Unique to the Blush is its color combination: metallic White Gold paint with red leather interior, red convertible top and boot. The Blush also gets its own 17″ alloy rims (which I can’t show you since VW has no pictures of them). VW points out that the Blush is the only New Beetle Convertible currently offered with a leather interior (all other Beetle’s make do with leatherette).
Mechanically, the Blush edition is identical to all other New Beetle Convertibles. At a price of $26,990 USD, it is $1,000 more than the standard model. I confess to being a little surprised that VW does not offer a manual transmission. File this one under “things that make you go hm”.
