We’re all pretty used to car companies putting out web videos with the hope that they’ll go viral and Nissan has been at the forefront of creating these videos. Most of them are highly produced commercials, that don’t have a lot of real world feel to them. Infiniti Canada has just put out a series of 3 new videos to promote the IPL line.
These shorts have been put together with the help of friend of The Garage, Chris Bye, at his Niagara on the Lake based drive facility. I can pretty much see in my mind how the concept for this came about. A brain storming session over a pint or two and someone came up with the great idea to race something against a helicopter. “What car will we use?” “How about the new G?” “Who’s going to drive?” “I know, let’s have Goodyear come out for the day”
Kudos to Infiniti for allowing these videos, which are essentially about boys playing with fast toys, to see the light of day!
